HADDONFIELD, N.J. -- Marymount men's soccer was voted on by the Atlantic East coaches to reclaim their spot as AEC Champions in the 2025 season. 

Securing 46 total votes with four first place votes, the Saints narrowed out Neumann University, who won the title in 2024. 

The Saints are coming off of an impressive 11-5-5 overall record last season, going 5-0-1 in conference action, making their way back to the Conference Championship match before falling 3-1. 

Marymount brings back two heavy hitters to the squad, including reigning Atlantic East Conference Rookie of the Year, Jefferson Lopez Coreas, alongside AEC First Team All-Conference honoree Erick Shoetter-Rojas. 

Main goalkeeper, Bayron Banegas, returns to the team after a 7-2-2 trek in the net for Marymount last season, notching 42 total saved with a 1.06 goals against average. 

The Saints will kick off their season Friday, August 29 on the road at Randolph College with the match set to begin at 6 PM. They will play their first home match at Long Bridge Park against Eastern Mennonite on Saturday, Sept. 13 at 6 PM.
