SEGUIN, Texas. -- This Friday was anything but typical for the Saints. Instead of their usual home setting, they took the field deep in the heart of the Lone Star State. The matchup marked Marymount's fourth game of the season and continued their stretch of away games. In a hard-fought contest against Texas Lutheran University, the Saints came away with a 1-1 draw.
The tie gives the Saints a record of 1-1-2.
 NOTABLE
- The Saints trailed 0-1 until Erick Shoetter-Rojas launched a goal into the net in the 79th minute.Â
- Erick Shoetter-Rojas was the team leader in shots taken, finishing the game strong with four total attempts.
- Marymount's offense applied lots of pressure to the opponent, rattling off 14 shots throughout the game.Â
- Jefferson Lopez Coreas and Menor Gonzalez both attempted three shots.
- Marymount defense held strong, keeping Texas Lutheran to four shots on target.Â
- Michah Vogler, a freshman who scored two goals last match, was able to take one shot this game.
- Defender Matthew Guzman-Veizaga took his chance and took a shot this match.Â
- Substitute Merlin Torres changed the midfield game and was able to get two shots off.
- Marymount keeper Bayron Banegas made three crucial saves.Â
