HAMPDEN-SYDNEY, Va. -- Marymount men's soccer had a quick turnaround from their opening game on Friday. This Sunday, the Saints saw more action in an afternoon face off against Hampden-Sydney College. Their second away game ended in a 0-4 loss.
The Saints continue their season with a 0-1-1 record.

- Notable player Matthew Guzman-Veizaga led the team with one shot on goal.
- Many Saints pressured the HSC defense and goalkeeper, with four players taking shots.
- Forward Jefferson Lopez Coreas took one shot in the second half.
- Jorge Lopez made an attempt to score, with the midfielder taking a shot in the 51st minute.Â
- The goal scorer from the previous match, Erick Shoetter-Rojas, attempted to score again in the second half, but had no luck.Â

- In the 34th minute, HSC upped the score to 2-0, which is the score the half closed with.Â
- In the second half, the Saints stayed aggressive with multiple shots.
