How It Happened
- After falling behind 1-0 after a solo homer from Wilson in the top of the first, the Saints did not take long to answer. In the bottom frame, Ryan Lee and Baker knocked back-to-back one out singles to give Marymount some momentum. Lee scored after taking advantage of a wild pitch and passed ball to tie up the contest. Fabre then singled up the middle to give the Saints the lead.
- Baker knocked an RBI single in the bottom of the second to tack onto the lead, scoring Chad Singleton.
- Dickson punched his two-RBI single in the bottom of the third to continue to stretch the Saints' lead. Singleton scored the third run of the inning, taking advantage of a Wilson error.
- The Marymount bullpen held on down the stretch as Wilson attempted a comeback, but Dickson shut down the effort with two scoreless innings of relief to close out the win.
