ARLINGTON, Va. -- The Atlantic East Conference office announced baseball postseason awards Wednesday afternoon, awarding two major awards and placing five Saints on AEC All-Conference Teams.
Quincy Via was named Atlantic East Player of the Year to put a cap on his storied career.
Nick Trapanese garnered the Elite Scholar Athlete award, given to the student-athlete with the highest cumulative GPA on the championship site.Â
Evan Schick,
Ben Smallwood,
Francis Swekosky, and Via earned First Team All-Conference, with
Gray Ellenburg garnering Second Team honors.Â

Quincy Via - Player of the Year - First Team All-Conference Outfield
Via put up one of the most dominant seasons in Marymount history at the plate and on the base paths in 2026, earning his third First Team All-Conference selection and Player of the Year honors.
Putting up a 1.063 OPS across the year while batting at a .413 clip, the senior outfielder slugged .570 with 14 doubles, two triples, and three home runs. He scored 60 total runs while driving in 31 RBI. Starting in all 18 games in conference, he hit .429 with a 1.077 OPS against AEC opponents while scoring 25 runs and collecting 11 RBI.
Via currently leads the nation in stolen bags this season, tallying 58.Â
Evan Schick - First Team All-Conference Infield
Schick broke out in 2026 to earn his first career All-Conference selection.
Batting .427 throughout the season, notching an OPS of 1.103, he had 14 doubles, a triple, and a home run. He has driven in 28 RBI to date.Â
In conference action, he remained a threat in the heart of the order for the Saints, putting up an OPS of 1.082.Â
Francis Swekosky - First Team All-Conference Outfield
Swekosky picked up his first career All-Conference accolade after an impressive year at the plate both in and out of conference action.Â
Putting up a staggering 1.313 OPS through conference play, he slugged .742 on six doubles, a triple, and three home runs. He knocked in 25 total RBI against AEC teams.
Through the entirety of the season so far, the junior has a .391 batting average and 1.111 OPS, knocking a team-high six home runs and 54 RBI.Â
Ben Smallwood - First Team All-Conference Pitcher
Smallwood made a name for himself on the mound this season as one of the most consistent arms across the league.Â
Against conference foes, Smallwood sported a 4-1 record and 1.71 ERA in his six games started on the bump. He struck out 15 batters with a batting average against of .276.
Through the entire year, the junior righty had a 7-1 record and an ERA of 1.74.Â
Gray Ellenburg - Second Team All-Conference Catcher
Ellenburg earns his first All-Conference selection in his junior year as the main backstop for the Saints.
In conference play, Ellenburg drove in 10 RBI with three doubles at the dish, while getting on base at a .444 clip.Â
Across the entirety of the season, he knocked in 24 RBI with a home run, but most significantly played a large role in managing the pitching staff that got the job done to earn the team's second-straight Atlantic East Title.Â
