ARLINGTON, Va. -- Marymount men's lacrosse standouts
Gavin Taylorson and
Creek Gausman earned 2025 United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) Scholar All-American honors, announced by the organization earlier this week.
This is the third year in a row that Marymount has been represented on the list of recipients, with
Jack Williams and
Jack Mattimore claiming the award last season, marking back-to-back years with a pair of Saints recognized. Prior to the last three seasons, Sean McCauley was the last student-athlete to garner the award in 2001.Â
In order to receive the award, the student-athlete must be a senior academically and have a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. Athletically, they must be an All-America, a member of a North/South team, or an all-conference player. All nominations are evaluated on a case-by-case basis by the Scholar All-American committee.Â
