LANCASTER, Pa. -- The Atlantic East Champions Marymount women's volleyball posted two major awards and three on Atlantic East All-Conference Teams, announced by the conference office Tuesday afternoon.
Ava Humphries garnered Atlantic East Player of the Year, with
Hailey LaBonte picking up Rookie of the Year. The two of them earned spots on All-Conference Teams, with
Elizabeth Stackpole also picking up a Second Team nod.Â
Ava Humphries - Player of the Year - First Team All-Conference
Humphries, Marymount's starting libero, garnered Player of the Year honors after a stellar season for the Saints.
Through the season, the junior racked up 518 total digs, averaging 4.71 per set, while knocking 52 service aces, 0.38 per set.Â
In conference play, Humphries had 5.32 digs per set, leading the conference.
This is the second season in a row that Marymount earned the Player of the Year after going perfect in AEC play, with Humphries earned her first career postseason recognition in the largest way.
Hailey LaBonte - Rookie of the Year - Second Team All-Conference
LaBonte led the Saints in points per set as a first-year, posting 3.28 across the season while hitting 2.75 kills per set at a .159 clip to earn Rookie of the Year and Second Team All-Conference
She was ninth in the conference in kills per set in AEC matches at 2.82, while knocking .206 across the conference slate. She was 10th in conferene action across the league in points per set at 3.34.
The first-year was named Tournament MVP after her efforts to help Marymount win their fourth-straight title.
Elizabeth Stackpole - Second Team All-Conference
Stackpole impressed in the 2025 campaign to earn her first postseason accolade.
Putting back 55.0 total blocks on the year, good for 0.50 per set, she added 232 kills throughout the season, 2.11 per set. She hit at a .266 percentage.
Stackpole led the league in hitting percentage against conference opponents at .388.
