ARLINGTON, Va. -- In a packed Converse Family Fieldhouse, Marymount women's volleyball won their fourth-straight Atlantic East Conference Championship, earning yet another trip to the NCAA Tournament.
Hailey LaBonte was named the Tournament MVP, adding a touted accolade to the first-year's trophy case.
NOTABLE
- LaBonte set a career-high kills with 18 on the biggest stage so far in her career. Adding 14 digs and three aces, the first-year racked up 21.0 points. She knocked at an impressive .586 percentage.
- Johanna Modica had 10 kills on a .381 hitting percentage for 10.0 points.
- Elizabeth Stackpole notched seven kills with three aces for 10.0 points in the Championship.
- Jessica Rothermel racked up 19 assists and two digs, adding a block assist.
- Emerson Aber added 16 assists, helping facilitate the dominant offensive effort.
- Ava Humphries had 11 digs and two aces in the win.
- Renae Rohrer added six digs, two assists, and an ace for the Saints.
- Sabrina Schoeberlein had four kills and a pair of digs to add to the win for Marymount.
UP NEXT
- Marymount will now look to prepare for the upcoming NCAA Tournament and await for their destination.
