MILTON, N.Y. -- For the first time in program history, Marymount women's cross country will bring home the Atlantic East Trophy, as they earned the Atlantic East Championship on Saturday.
With the men finishing runner up, the Saints posted a historic day.
TEAM RESULTS
- Women - First out of five teams with 35Â points - Atlantic East Champions
- Men - Second out of five teams with 76 points - Atlantic East Runners Up
WOMEN INDIVIDUAL RESULTS
- Avery Finnegan finished in first-place to earn Runner of the Year with a time of 24:48.5.
- Brier Amerlinck finished third to post First Team All-Conference, notching a time of 25:24.3.
- Mikayla Stephens came across in sixth place with a finishing mark of 26:59.8.
- Gabrielle Weirsky notched 11th on the day, clocking in at 27:48.6.
- Madeleine Paré put up a 14th place finish with a time of 27:58.0.
- Abby Hughes crossed the line at 17th with a finishing time of 29:01.7.
- Elizabeth Dellacorte rounded out the finishers for the Saints with a time of 30:49.5, good for 23rd in the field.
MEN INDIVIDUAL RESULTS
- Cameron Parvizian finished atop for the Saints, notching a 21st place finish with a time of 31:33.4.
- Louis Aquilina came across next at 25th with a time of 32:36.6.
- Alexander Youmans finished in 28th, notching a time of 32:58.4.
- Abdul Yakubu clocked a time of 33:35.2 for a 29th place finish.
- Jahsym Nance finished it off for Marymount with a 35th place finish, clocking a time of 35:56.6.
