CLINTON, Miss. -- Marymount women's cross country headed down to Mississippi for the NCAA South Regionals, competing in the meet on Saturday.
Strong performances from the AEC Championship squad highlighted the event, with personal records broken.
TEAM SCORE
- The squad placed 14th out of 24 competing teams with a score of 389.
INDIVIDUAL RESULTS
- Brier Amerlinck finished atop the Marymount standings, coming across in 24th with a time of 23:44.26, a new personal best for the AEC Rookie of the Year.
- The AEC Runner of the Year Avery Finnegan finished in the 47th spot, notching a time of 24:01.46.Â
- Mikayla Stephens finished in 92nd at 25:34.34.
- Gabrielle Weirsky came across the line with a finishing time of 26:37.99, a new PR for the junior.
- Madeleine Paré punched a time of 26:58.88 in the 6k race.
- Abby Hughes finished the race with a time of 28:38.81.
- Elizabeth Dellacorte finished out the runners for the Saints, hitting a time of 29:59.91.
