SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. -- Marymount's cross country traveled to Pennsylvania this Friday for their second meet in the 2025 season. The women's team placed eighth overall in the Galen Piper Invitational.

 NOTABLE

• All women raced in the 4000M competition. 
• The first and fastest Saint to place was junior Abby Hughes.
• Freshman Gabi Titone made her mark and finished one slot behind Abby. 
• The next finisher for the Saints was Madeleine Pare, with the senior crossing the line in 17:28.0.
• Senior Gabrielle Weirsky finished 75th with a time of 18:55.9.
• Elizabeth Dellacorte, a Saint sophomore, ran to the finish line with freshman Maria Pullen not too far behind. 

UP NEXT

• The Saints get to take a breather, with their next meet taking place on September 20th.
• They will attend the Osprey Open in Galloway, New Jersey.
