High School: Attended Thomas Dale High School in Chesterfield, Va. His career-best times included: 1600-meter (4:56), 800-meter (2:17), 3200-meter (11:10). 

Personal: Intends to major in political science. His cousin, Joey Bauldree, played minor league baseball.
