Box Score RADNOR, Pa. – The Marymount University men's lacrosse team traveled to No. 6 Cabrini University on Wednesday night, falling to the Cavaliers in Atlantic East Conference action.
The Cavaliers took a 3-0 lead to open the game before junior Troy Tangolics netted the Saints' first score to cut into the lead.
In the second quarter, MU got goals from freshmen Jack Williams and Paul Vey and junior Hunter Ralston, but Cabrini took a 17-4 lead into the halftime break.
Cabrini opened the second half with 10-straight goals, but sophomore Sebastian Radovic tallied his first goal, on an assist from Williams, taking advantage of a man-up opportunity before the end of the third quarter to end the run.
Senior Clark Akers put away the Saints' final goal with the first score of the fourth quarter, getting an assist from freshman Chris Bochilo.
Junior Brandon Hall played the majority of the minutes in goal for MU, making eight saves in over 32 minutes. Freshman Angel Santos corralled two stops in over 17 minutes of action.
The Saints will return home to Long Bridge Park for the first time in almost a month for their next game, taking on Neumann University in their Atlantic East home opener. The opening faceoff is set for 1 p.m.
