ARLINGTON, Va. — The Marymount University men's lacrosse program continued its success in the classroom as it earned the USILA Academic Team Award for the sixth consecutive season, while senior Ian Fructuoso was recognized as a USILA Scholar All-American.
The Academic Team Award honors programs that have achieved a team grade-point average of 3.0 or higher during the academic year, highlighting Marymount's continued commitment to excellence both on the field and in the classroom. Fructuoso's Scholar All-American selection recognizes his outstanding achievements as both a student and an athlete. The honor is awarded to student-athletes who excel academically while making significant contributions to their team's success on the field. The dual recognition reflects the Saints' culture of academic achievement and athletic excellence, as the program continues to set a high standard for success in all aspects of the collegiate experience.
