Box Score IMMACULATA, Pa. - The Marymount University men's volleyball team earned its third-straight sweep on Saturday afternoon, cruising past Immaculata University in Continental Volleyball Conference play, 3-0 (25-15, 25-10, 25-6).
The Saints are now 11-9 for the season and 4-2 in league play with three matches remaining in CVC competition.
Freshman hitter Haden Franken led the way for a Saints' offense that hit at a .370 clip for 37 kills. Franken finished with a match-high 10 kills on 18 swings for a .389 hitting percentage. He was joined by freshman Hayden Kerekes, who finished with seven kills on seven swings to go with a match-high five service aces.
Freshman Sava Topich took over the setting reps for the match, sending out a match-high 28 assists, while freshman Michael Collins dove out for a match-high 11 digs.
Marymount progressively got better as the match went along, starting with a .296 hitting percentage in set one to landing .500 in the final set with just one attack error and 12 kills.
The Saints return home for five-straight matches, starting off with No. 4 Dominican University on Sunday, March 8 at 1 p.m., in the Converse Family Fieldhouse.
