ARLINGTON, Va. -- Marymount's men's volleyball earned their hosting spot this Tuesday in the CVC Quarterfinals. The team looked to defeat Kean to advance to the semi-finals, but fell short in a four set match.
This loss wraps up the men's season.
NOTABLE
- Leading the team in kills was Brady Wiggers, who earned 26.
- Mihir Peta was tonights only Saint to earn a service ace.
- Seth Richards claimed three blocks at the net.
- Senior Diego Peña led in assists (43) and digs (14).
- As a team, Marymount led in points (66), kills (60), blocks (5), assists (54), and digs (57).
- The Saints claimed a win in set one with a close score of 25-23, and that energy remained with the following three close sets.
- Kean won sets two, three, and four all within a five point difference.
- Set two was one by Kean 25-21, set three was 25-23, and set four was 25-22.
