ARLINGTON, Va. -- Marymount men's volleyball picked up a major award and placed three on Continental Volleyball Conference All-Conference Teams, announced by the league Monday evening.

Brady Wiggers earned Rookie of the Year laurels, while also grabbing First Team All-Conference. Diego Peña (Second Team) and Seth Richards (Third Team) joined Wiggers in the postseason accolades.

Brady Wiggers - Rookie of the Year - First Team All-Conference

The first-year impressed during his rookie campaign. Through the regular season, he led the Saints in kills with 289, averaging 3.25 per sett, while hitting at a .320 clip.

In conference action, Wiggers knocked 97 kills, averaging 3.59 per set, ranking second in the league. Against conference foes, he had a .295 hitting percentage. 

Wiggers is the second Marymount men's volleyball player to receive the award, with TJ Wiechecki garnering the award in 2015.

Diego Peña - Second Team All-Conference

Peña, stepping into the role of primary setter this season, facilitated the offense in impressive fashion through the 2026 season.

Through regular season play, Peña collected 947 assists, averaging 9.28 per set, while knocking 44 aces and 38 kills. 

In conference play, he averaged 9.48 assists per set, good for second in the conference.

The award marks the third-straight year the Falls Church, Va. native has earned Second Team laurels. 

Seth Richards - Third Team All-Conference

Richards earns his first All-Conference nod of his career after a strong junior turn on the court.

Through the season, the junior put back 35.0 total blocks, 0.51 per set. He was third on the team in total kills with 112, while fourth in kills per set at 1.65.

In conference action, he averaged 0.62 blocks per set and 2.04 kills per set.
