DOVER, Del. – Junior attacker Abby Wescott added another program record to her resume on Wednesday night, notching six points in the Marymount (Va.) University women's lacrosse team's 17-2 victory over Wesley College to take over the top spot in program history in career points. 

With her goal and five assists for the night, she moved past alum SpringAnne Hatfield to take the top spot in the program's career points with 216 total through her three-year stretch so far. 

Wescott was not alone in mile markers on Wednesday night, as sophomore Jessica Crew cracked the 100-point mark in her career with a game-high eight points off seven goals and an assist. Her 107 points moves her past recent graduate Stephanie Keane and into the 12th spot in program history. 

Additionally, a strong defensive showing out of the Saints all had senior Meghan Higgins and junior Liah Agouras reach 100 ground balls in their careers. 

The Saints scored early and often and continued the trend through much of the game, taking a 15-0 lead over the Wolverines all the way to the 17:38 mark in the second half. 

It took until the final 15 minutes of the game for Wesley to find the back of the net, and it would happen just twice in the night. Eight different Saints tallied points, while the defense forced 14 turnovers. Sophomore Holly Reik earned the win in net, making six saves in her 30 minutes of play, while freshman Meagan Gagnon tended for the second half, making four saves. 

The women return home to close out the regular season on Saturday, April 15 for Senior Day, hosting No. 14 University of Mary Washington at Long Bridge Park. First draw is set for 1 p.m.
