GWYNEDD VALLEY, Pa. — Marymount women's lacrosse closed out the regular season in dominant fashion on Wednesday afternoon, rolling past Gwynedd Mercy, 23–4. The Saints controlled the game from start to finish, improving to 9-7 overall and 3-2 in Atlantic East play heading into the postseason.Â
HOW IT HAPPENED
Marymount wasted no time setting the tone, opening the game on an 8-1 run in the first quarter behind efficient ball movement and relentless pressure on both ends. The Saints continued to build separation in the second, adding six more goals to take a commanding 14-2 lead into halftime.
Out of the break, Marymount never let up. The offense stayed balanced while the defense limited Gwynedd Mercy's opportunities, holding the Griffins to just two second-half goals.
