SCRANTON, Pa. — Marymount saw its 2026 season come to a close on Saturday afternoon, falling to Marywood, 15-6, in postseason action. The Saints battled early and evened the game midway through the third quarter, but a second-half surge from the Pacers proved to be the difference as Marymount finishes the year with a 9-8 record. 

NOTABLE

• Tess Valentino led the Saints with two goals, pacing a balanced offensive effort that saw six different goal scorers. 
• Mackenzie Morrissette tallied a goal and an assist, continuing to drive the offense with a team-high two points. 
• Kaylee Heath, Natalia Ortiz, and Jillian Blair each added a goal, with Blair's third-quarter strike tying the game at 6-6 before Marywood pulled away. 
• Defensively, Jillian Blair contributed across the field with three caused turnovers and three ground balls, while Natalia Ortiz controlled six draws and added three ground balls. 
• In goal, Ava Vautour made six saves as the Saints faced heavy pressure, with Marywood holding a 37-17 shot advantage. 

A resilient effort capped the season for Marymount, highlighted by contributions up and down the roster and a competitive push against a strong Marywood squad.
