Arlington, Va. – Marymount University's Connor Kellogg scored five goals and recorded his 100th career point as the men's lacrosse team wrapped up its non-conference schedule with a 13-7 victory over visiting Shenandoah on Wednesday night. The Saints improve to 7-4 on the season for their most wins since the 2001 season and 6-1 at the friendly confines of Long Bridge Park.

Kellogg, a junior from Greenwood Village, Colo., scored a career high five goals to achieve the feat on his final score, a man down goal in the fourth quarter. For his career, Kellogg has notched 70 goals and 30 assists. He is the 15th Saint to reach 100 career points in program history.

Vince Lodato and Nico Burns both added hat-tricks with three goals each in the win. Jack Burke and Garrett Nealon added lone goals for the Blue and White as well.

Lance Bernecker, Ian Gordon, Michael Mene, George Pugh and Lodato all tallied an assist.

A back-and-forth first quarter saw Marymount take the early lead on a quick Burns goal before the Hornets (5-7) rallied for a pair of scores. Kellogg would notch his first goal with 1:07 remaining in the frame to close out the quarter tied 2-2.

In the third, Shenandoah struck first before the Saints rallied with three unanswered goals, and four of the next five in the period, to take a 6-3 lead going into halftime. Marymount's three unanswered goals were scored in a span of less than two minutes while Kellogg scored his second goal of the game with :48 seconds remaining.

In the third, the Saints blew the doors open and outscored Shenandoah 4-1 in the quarter. Marymount is outscoring its opponents 35-19 coming out of halftime on the season.

Scoring two goals in the opening minute of the fourth quarter, MU put the game way with Kellogg's milestone man-down goal at the 11:50 mark.

Marymount dominated faceoffs, winning 16-of-23 trips to the center 'X'. Gordon was 11-for-16 while Max Johnson won 5-of-7 showdowns. Tyler DaSilva led the Saints with 10 ground balls while Gordon added six and Kellogg had four.
