HADDONFIELD, N.J.— Marymount Athletics continued to stack spring honors, earning four Atlantic East Conference weekly awards behind standout performances from softball, men's lacrosse, and women's lacrosse.
Kaylee Atkins - Softball Player of the Week
Senior first baseman Kaylee Atkins powered the Saints at the plate last week, batting .762 across 21 at-bats. Atkins racked up six doubles while slugging 1.048 and reaching base at a .738 clip, making her a constant threat every time she stepped into the box. She added five RBI and crossed the plate eight times to cap off a dominant offensive week.
Ian Fructuoso - Men's Lacrosse Player of the Week
Ian Fructuoso led the way for Marymount in its regular season finale against Gwynedd Mercy, helping the Saints finish undefeated in Atlantic East play. Fructuoso poured in four goals and added an assist for five total points, showcasing his ability to both finish and facilitate. He also contributed on the ground with four ground balls, impacting the game in all phases as Marymount closed out the regular season in dominant fashion.
Winston Horshaw II - Men's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week
Winston Horshaw II controlled the faceoff X in the Saints' regular season finale, going a near-perfect 15-for-16 against Gwynedd Mercy. The sophomore also scooped up nine ground balls, giving Marymount key possessions throughout the conference win.
Kaylee Heath - Women's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week
Kaylee Heath put together a strong all-around performance in Marymount's regular season finale win over Gwynedd Mercy. The senior midfielder caused three turnovers, picked up three ground balls, and controlled 10 draws while also adding five points on three goals and two assists, showcasing her impact all around the field.
