ARLINGTON, Va. – Marymount softball head coach Leigh Murray-Winstead has announced her 2026 schedule this Wednesday morning, highlighting a season featuring games from February into April.
The Saints begin their season in February, with the opening pitch being thrown February 25th against Washington College (Md.) for a double header. February games continue as the team heads to Ashland, Virginia to face off against Randolph-Macon College and New Paltz on February 28th.
The team will have their first home event on March 3rd. Barcroft Park will host Sweet Briar College that Tuesday at 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM. With a quick turnaround, the team will play away against Messiah University for a double header March 4th. On March 7th, the Saints stay on the road and travel to Raleigh, North Carolina to play The College of New Jersey and Eastern Mennonite University. Staying in Raleigh, the Saints will play Randolph College and Averett University on March 8th. Finally returning home, the Saints play two back-to-back double headers. On March 15th, the team will play Methodist University for a double header. Staying at home, the Saints play Oswego State in a double header on March 19th. Conference games for the Saints begin on the road against Gwynedd Mercy on March 21st. With another quick turnaround, the Saints face off against Shenandoah the next day in a home double header. On March 25th, the team will travel to Owings Mill, Maryland to play against Notre Dame of Maryland University. A conference face-off against Saint Elizabeth at home will close out March for the team.
April opens up with more conference games, as the team stays home to go toe-to-toe with Neumann University in a double header on April 7th. The next day, the Saints get to stay home to play McDaniel College in another double header. On April 11th, the team will travel up to Scranton, Pennsylvania to play Marywood University in a conference double header. Returning home, the Saints play at Barcroft against University of Mary Washington on April 14th. Staying home, the team's next match up is against Centenary on April 18th. Closing out April, the team will play Hood College on April 21st in Fredrick Maryland, Catholic University on April 22nd at home, and Immaculata on April 25th in Immaculata, Pennsylvania.
Immaculata's double header on April 25th will close out the Saint's regular season. May 2nd marks the beginning of the post-season and the Atlantic East Conference Tournament.
