HADDONFIELD, N.J. -- Marymount setter Jessica Rothermel has been named the Atlantic East Specialty Player of the Week, announced by the conference office.
After leading the Saints to a perfect 3–0 week, including wins over McDaniel, Eastern Mennonite, and Virginia Union, Rothermel was a consistent force running the offense. Tallying 77 assists across three matches, highlighted by a season-best 29 assists against McDaniel. She also contributed on the defensive side with seven digs and added a block assist. Her standout performance played a pivotal role in the Saints' straight-set sweeps over Eastern Mennonite and Virginia Union, as well as their 3–1 victory against McDaniel in the Mental Health Awareness Match.
This marks another strong step forward in Rothermel's season as she continues to be a steady leader on the court for Marymount.
