FREDERICKSBURG, Va. -- Marymount women's volleyball took the trip down I-95 to play a pair of matches at Mary Washington, taking on the Eagles and Virginia Wesleyan, a pair of strong opponents. 

With the losses, the Saints fall to 2-7 on the year. 

MARY WASHINGTON 3 - MARYMOUNT 0

• Hailey LaBonte led the Saints with 10 kills in the opening match, hitting .261, with six digs. She racked up 10.0 points.
• Sabrina Schoeberlein had seven kills and digs, adding two block assists, good for 10.0 points.
• Elizabeth Stackpole powered seven kills and added a block solo and three block assists for 9.5 points.
• Johanna Modica had 8.0 points on seven kills and four digs.
• Jessica Rothermel led the Saints with 16 assists. Emerson Aber added 13.
• Ava Humphries led with 20 digs.

VIRGINIA WESLEYAN 3 - MARYMOUNT 0

• Stackpole and LaBonte each had five kills in the final match of the day, with LaBonte adding 13 digs. They each had 5.0 points.
• Modica hit .231 en route to four kills with a pair of digs for 6.0 points.
• Renae Rohrer had 12 digs.
• Aber led the Saints with nine assists, with Rothermel adding 8.
• Alexis Bumah and Schoeberlein each added three kills for the Saints.

UP NEXT

• The Saints will take the week off before heading to St. Mary's (Md.) for a tri-match against the hosts and Hood College next Saturday.
• They will be back in Converse Family Fieldhouse Wednesday, Sept. 24 for a 6 PM first serve.
• The home match will be their Mental Health Awareness Match.
