ARLINGTON, Va. -- Marymount women's lacrosse standout
Abby Dunn was named to the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association Senior All-Star Team, announced by the organization on Wednesday morning.
Dunn's selection marks the first for the Marymount program since 2023, when former teammate Emily Peters took the field for the South Team.
The Pasadena, Md. native had another powerful year for the Saints on the turf, earning Atlantic East Defensive Player of the Year, alongside First Team All-Conference honors for the second-straight season. Throughout her career, Dunn earned a trio of All-Conference accolades, while also being named to the AEC Player of the Week listing four times.
In 2025, Dunn started in all 20 games for the Saints, picking up 64 total ground balls while causing 54 turnovers. She also nabbed 77 draw controls on the year.
Through her defensive presence, Dunn helped lead the Marymount program to their first-ever conference championship, winning the Atlantic East Title with a 22-12 decisive victory in front of the home crowd at Long Bridge Park.
Dunn finishes her career with her name across the record book, as she broke the single season caused turnover record with 54 in 2025, while also putting herself in second all-time in career caused turnovers with 101. She will remain top-10 in career ground balls and draw controls, as well.
The Senior All-Star games will be at Tierney Field at the USA Lacrosse Headquarters in Sparks, Md. on Saturday, May 31. The Division III game will be held at 12:30 PM.
