ARLINGTON, Va. — Marymount women's lacrosse delivered a commanding performance on Saturday afternoon, blanking Southern Virginia 19-0 to remain unbeaten on the young season. The Saints set the tone early and never looked back, controlling possession and overwhelming the Knights from the opening draw.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Marymount erupted for 10 first-quarter goals to seize immediate control, capitalizing on draw dominance and relentless offensive pressure. The Saints continued to build the lead with balanced scoring in each quarter while their defense limited Southern Virginia to just eight total shots and three on goal. A strong second half sealed the shutout as Marymount's defense and goalkeeping preserved the clean sheet.Â

- Kaylee Heath led all scorers with five goals, including two man-up scores in the fourth quarter.Â
- Carmella Garcia added four goals and dominated draw controls, helping Marymount secure a 17-2 advantage.Â
