ARLINGTON, Va. – Marymount women's lacrosse outscored Neumann 7-1 in the fourth quarter to pull out a 14-9 victory on Wednesday afternoon at Long Bridge Park. For the second straight season, the Saints advanced to the Atlantic East Championship game.

NOTABLE

• Taylor Young and Kaleigh Dunham paced the Saints with four goals apiece.
• Caitlyn Dunn led the team with six ground balls and four caused turnovers.
• Sarah Agrillo had three assists to go along with two goals.
• Mariel Russ had eight saves in the net to pick up the win.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• After a slow start for both sides, Marymount methodically built a 4-1 lead early in the second quarter.
• Neumann responded with three straight goals to head into halftime with a 4-4 tie.
• The Knights kept the momentum going and took their first lead of the game on a goal from Alison Mallon with 13:56 left in the third.
• Neumann held an 8-7 advantage heading into the fourth quarter.
• The Saints fought back to take a 9-8 lead on a goal from Riley Love with 13:30 to play.
• Three goals in 89 seconds with less than four minutes to play clinched the victory for Marymount, 14-9.

• Marymount will travel to face No. 1 seed Cabrini on Saturday in the Atlantic East Championship.
