RADNOR, Pa. – The inaugural season in Marymount softball history ended with a 5-0 loss to Cabrini on Saturday morning. The Saints finished 1-2 in the Atlantic East Tournament while Cabrini advanced to next week's championship series against Marywood.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Two errors by Marymount in the second inning allowed Cabrini to score three unearned runs to take control of the game.
• The Saints finally got a baserunner after Sarah Emig was hit by a pitch in the fifth inning but she was left on first after a strikeout to end the frame.
• Sheila Kiernan had Marymount's only hit of the game with a leadoff single in the sixth inning.
• Shanyn Burch threw seven innings, allowing eight hits and no earned runs.
