FREDERICK, Md. -- The Marymount University women's lacrosse team emerged victorious in its third consecutive contest on Saturday afternoon in a 13-10 win over Hood College. 

MU was forced to stage a comeback on the road, as the Blazers managed to take an 8-6 lead over the Saints at the end of the first half. The Saints didn't waver, however, and outscored Hood, 5-2, in the third quarter. 

Marymount started the frame off with three straight goals to take a 9-8 lead. Kaleigh Dunham bookended the run with goals while Riley Love supplied the third marker. Hood answered with two goals of its own, but Sarah Agrillo and Megan Edens each scored with under a minute left in the third quarter to keep the Blue and White ahead, 11-10. 

The Saints added to their lead in the final quarter, as Taylor Young buried a pair of free position chances to put MU ahead for good. Mariel Russ stood tall in net for the Saints during the final period with three saves to preserve the victory. 

Russ ended the contest with 15 saves and seven ground balls to earn her fourth win of the season. Dunham paced the Saints' offense with four goals. Agrillo finished with three points on two goals and one assist, while Love and Young both scored a pair of goals. 

Marymount jumps right back into action on Monday, March 7, when it hosts King's College (Pa.) at 2:00 p.m.
