SALISBURY, Md. - The Marymount University men's track and field team came in fifth in their first meet of the season at the Lloyd Sigler Spring Meet with 29 points.
The Saints dominated the men's 110 meter hurdles as freshman Ryan Brooks took second with a time of 15.44. Classmate Mhyrlito Daniel followed close behind in third with a time of 17.92. Sophomore Cole Valente earned a fourth place finish with a time of 18.14.
Brooks added another top-five finish in the 400 meter dash. The rookie clocked in with a time of 51.24, which was good for second place.
The Saints continue their season on Saturday, March 19 when they take part in the University of Mary Washington Opener at 10:00 a.m.
