IMMACULATA, Pa. -- CHAMPS! The Marymount University men's track team are Atlantic East Champions. After an outstanding performance, the Saints come home with a trophy. The women's team walked away with an impressive second place.
NOTABLE
- Jaythan Dumas and Samuel Struggs claimed first place and second place in the men's 100 meter dash, with Jaythan running a 10.74.
- Ilana Hawkins earned first place in the women's 100 meter dash with a time of 12:57 meters with teammate Minnie Morris earning third.
- Jaythan Dumas and Samuel Struggs also dominated in the men's 200 meter with Jaythan earning first with Samuel running into second.
- Ilana Hawkins earned another first place finish in the women's 200 meter, with the junior running across the finish line in 25.15. Teammate Camryn Edwards earned second behind Ilana with a time of 26.45.
- In the 400 meter race, first-year Ta'Sharde Graham earned first with a time of 51.11 with teammate Samuel Struggs claiming another second place win.
- Ilana Hawkins remained on fire with another first place finish in the women's 400 meter race.
- Break away first-year runner Henry Brys earned second place in the 800 meter race, finishing with an impressive time of 2:03.28
- Gabi Titone ran an impressive 2:26.35 in the women's 800 meter to claim third place and first place in the women's 1500 meter.
- Henry Brys also claimed third in the 1500 meter race with a time of 4:21.95.
- Junior Brier Amerlinck ran into second place in the women's 1500 meter race with a time of 5:02.24 and second in the 5000 meter race with a time of 18:52.02
- Briana Lee earned second in the women's 100 hurdles.
- The men's team swept the 110 hurdles with Bryan Bivens earning first, Judah Onassis-Lee in second, and Reuben McEachern claiming third.
- Similarly, the Marymount team swept the 400 hurdles with Reuben McEachern claiming first, Bryan Bivens in second, and Liam Galaspie in third.
- In the 3000 steeplechase, Henry Brys got second with a time of 11:30.06.
- On the women's side, the 3000 steeplechase runner Gabi Titone earned first alongside teammate Madeleine Pare who earned second.
- The 4x100 relay's swept on both on both the men's and women's side with both teams earning first. The men's 4 x 400 men's relay also claimed first place while the women landed in third.
- In pole vault, Cadyn Johnson jumped into second place while Esther Paz also claimed second.
- Samuel Struggs claimed first in the triple jump with a height of 13.35 meters.
- In shot put, Lindy Ahenkora earned first place, throwing 10.52 meters as well as first in the hammer.
