FREDERICKSBURG, Va. – Marymount University men's track and field competed at the University of Mary Washington Opener where the team took fourth place with 59 points after dominating the men's hurdles. 

The Saints competed in 12 of 19 events and finished with two first-place finishes, two second-place finishes, and three third-place finishes.

The Saints dominated the 400m hurdles taking first, second, and third place. Ryan Brooks finished in first place with a time of 57.20. With a time of 100.43, Mhyrlito Daniel came in second while Cole Valente came in third with a time of 1:01.98. Brooks and Daniel continued their dominance in the 110m hurdles with a second place finish by Brooks with a time of 15.48 and third place finish by Daniel with a time of 16.12.

Charles Walker brought home a first place finish with a high jump of 1.80m. Samuel Mercedes added a third place finish with a hammer throw of 34.13.

The Saints compete at a Tri-Conference Meet in Baltimore, Maryland on Friday, March 25th.
