Box Score ASTON, Pa. – The Marymount University women's lacrosse team got back in the win column on Saturday, taking down Neumann University, 21-4, in Atlantic East Conference play.
Junior Sarah Agrillo led the way with a career-high eight points and six goals, matching her career-high. She completed a hat trick in the first 10 minutes of play, as the Saints opened the game with seven straight goals.
Senior Madison Davis netted two goals in the opening run, while classmate Eliana Cassel and sophomore Riley Love tallied scores, as well.
Marymount finished the first half with a 12-3 lead, never looking back from its hot start. Agrillo tallied one more goal, and junior Emily Peters put away two before the break. Peter, also, hit a career milestone in the game, reaching the 100 draw control mark. With eight draw control wins in the game, she now sits at No. 11 in program history with 107.
The Saints continued their domination, putting away six-straight scores to open the second half. In all, they outscored the Knights 9-1 in the period.
Agrillo, Peters, Love, and junior Taylor Young all netted two goals in the half, while sophomore Kaleigh Dunham added the other.
Peters finished with four goals and five points; Love and Young, each added hat tricks.
Junior Mariel Russ earned the win in the cage, making nine saves.
The Saints will continue Atlantic East action at Wesley College on Wednesday, March 14; the opening draw is set for 5 p.m.
