ARLINGTON, Va. - Marymount men's basketball sophomore Ibrahim Kamara totaled a double double with 16 rebounds and 10 assists, both career highs, but Wesley outscored the Saints 31-16 over the game's final 14 minutes to come away with a 72-65 victory Wednesday inside Verizon Sports Arena.

Marymount (7-15, 6-9 CAC) led 49-41 with 14:04 remaining, but led by eight points from Brian Cameron, the Wolverines used a 13-4 run to take a 54-53 lead with 8:09 to play and never trailed again as they snapped a three-game road losing streak.

Leading 56-55, Wesley used an 8-0 run, highlighted by five points from Cameron, to push it lead to 64-55 with 4:30 left.

The Saints pulled within four, 64-60, after a tip-in by Kamara and a three-pointer by junior Brandon Rogers with 3:28 remaining, but that was as close as they would get as the Wolverines (11-11, 7-8 CAC) made 4-of-5 free throws in the final minute to seal the victory.

Cameron scored 18 of his game-high 29 points in the second while adding five rebounds, three assists and three steals. He finished the game with 29 points, 10 rebounds and six assists. Meanwhile, JW Lawson added 18 points off the bench. The two combined to shoot 21-of-40 from the floor for 52.5 percent.

Senior Dimitri Rucker and freshman Steve Etienne each scored 16 for Marymount, but it was a tale of two halves. Rucker totaled 12 of his points in the second half while Etienne had 15 in the first. Rucker also added seven rebouds while Rogers finished with 14 points, including 12 on 4-of-9 shooting from behind the arc.

Marymount hosts Frostburg State on Saturday in the final home game for Rucker and fellow senior Alex Danko. The two will be honored in a pre-game ceremony before the Saints and Bobcats tip-off at 3 p.m. Frostburg State won the first meeting between the two this season, 67-60 on January 3.
