Box Score ARLINGTON, Va. - Marymount men's basketball junior Brandon Rogers scored 11 of his team-high 16 points in the second half, but it wasn't enough to overcome a 15-point halftime deficit as the Saints dropped a 74-57 decision to Penn State Harrisburg Wednesday night at Verizon Sports Arena.
Marymount (5-11, 4-5 CAC) led 9-6 on a lay-up by freshman Steve Etienne with 14:32 remaining in the first half before the Nittany Lions used a 16-3 run to take a 10-point lead with 10:18 left.
The Saints pulled within four on a jumper by sophomore Ryan Albert with 6:54 to play, but Penn State Harrisburg closed the half by scoring 18 of the final 25 points to take a 40-25 lead at the break.
Rogers scored nine of his 11 second-half points from three-point range where he was 3-for-5. Senior Dimitri Rucker had eight points and three blocks in the second half, finishing with 12 points, six rebounds and three blocks.
Sophomore Ibrahim Kamara totaled seven points, five rebounds and four assists. Etienne finished with nine points, four rebounds and seven of Marymount's 10 steals while Albert had eight points and five rebounds.
Marymount continues its four-game homestand on Saturday when it welcomes St. Mary's (Md.) to Verizon Sports Arena for a 3 p.m., tip-off.
