ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. -- Marymount women's volleyball dropped two, four-set matches at Elizabethtown against the hosting Blue Jays and Rowan. 

With the losses, the Saints drop to 5-7 overall on the season.

Elizabethtown scored the first five points of the opening set and later pushed the margin to 13-4 behind kills from Bailey McFeaters, Tori Obarow and Lucy Stanek. The Saints began to cut into the gap after Elizabeth Stackpole's kill made it 14-6, with Kate Craver serving two aces around a Brigid Donahue kill during a four-point stretch that brought the Saints within 14-10. After Elizabethtown moved back ahead 19-15, the Saints used two Elizabethtown attack errors, a Renae Rohrer kill and back-to-back Donahue kills to pull even at 21-21. Elizabethtown answered with three straight points and, after another Donahue kill, closed the set on Obarow's kill for a 25-22 finish.

The Saints moved in front 6-2 in the second set behind an Emerson Aber ace, kills from Eliana Knaub and Sabrina Schoeberlein, and a block by Schoeberlein and Angela McKenzie. Elizabethtown worked back to tie it 7-7, and after the Saints reclaimed a 12-10 edge with Donahue kills and a Craver ace, Nikki Klages served consecutive aces to put Elizabethtown ahead 15-13 before Addy Reed added back-to-back aces for an 18-14 lead. The Saints cut the margin to 18-17 on a Schoeberlein kill, a Knaub-Stackpole block and a Stackpole kill, then pulled even at 21-21 on McKenzie's kill from Aber. Elizabethtown scored the final four points on kills by Marah Glenn, Aubrey Sullivan, Tori Obarow and Bailey McFeaters to take the set 25-21.

After the third set moved point-for-point to a 7-7 tie, Schoeberlein's kill started a Saints stretch that produced eight of the next nine points and a 15-8 lead, with Stackpole and Hailey LaBonte adding kills and Caylee Walsh serving an ace. Elizabethtown worked back into the set behind an Addy Reed ace, three Lucy Stanek kills and a Kinsey Reuwer kill, closing the margin to 16-15. The Saints stayed in front with kills by LaBonte and Schoeberlein, but Elizabethtown cut it to 21-20 on a Tori Obarow kill. Emerson Aber answered with a kill, and after two Elizabethtown attack errors, Stackpole finished the set from Aber for a 25-20 Saints win.

After the set was tied at 2-2, Elizabethtown scored seven straight points to move ahead 9-2, with Claire Erdman serving two aces and Lucy Stanek adding back-to-back kills during the stretch. The Saints got points from a Schoeberlein kill, a Hailey LaBonte kill and Elizabethtown errors, but Elizabethtown pushed the lead to 15-5 behind a Kinsey Reuwer kill and several Saints attack errors. Knaub and Stackpole each put down kills later in the set, and the Saints used three straight points to get to 20-12. Elizabethtown answered with three consecutive points, reached set point on a Marah Glenn kill and closed the match with a Bailey McFeaters kill for a 25-13 fourth-set win.

The Saints moved in front early, going up 5-2 after a Rohrer kill, an Emerson Aber kill and an Eliana Knaub finish from Aber. The Saints stretched the lead to 9-5 on an Alexis Bumah kill and a Rowan attack error, but Rowan answered with six straight points, including two Hutton Cordrey service aces, to move ahead 11-9. The Saints pulled back within 15-14 on a Rowan attack error and a Stackpole kill, before Rowan scored the next five points to create separation at 20-14. Knaub and Cayley Walsh helped the Saints add late points, including Walsh's ace to make it 22-18, but Rowan took the final two points to close the set 25-18.

The Saints built an early 8-3 lead in the second set, with Ottolini serving through a four-point stretch that included a Sabrina Schoeberlein kill, a Schoeberlein-Stackpole block and two Rowan attack errors. The Saints later moved ahead 21-16 on an Angela McKenzie kill, but Rowan answered with five straight points, including a Raven Albrecht ace and kills by Jessica Smart and Abigail Chadwick, to tie the set at 21-21. The teams traded points through 25-25 before Rowan went in front 26-25 on a Smart kill, but the Saints took four of the final five points behind a Stackpole kill, an Emerson Aber block, McKenzie kill and Knaub's set-closing kill for a 29-27 win.

The Saints started the third set with three straight points on Rowan attack errors, but Rowan answered with eight consecutive points, using kills by Jessica Smart and Ava Best along with Saints miscues to move in front 8-3. Knaub and McKenzie added kills to slow Rowan's early push, and the Saints later trimmed the gap to 13-10 during Caylee Walsh's serve with a Bumah kill, a Brigid Donahue kill and two Rowan attack errors. Rowan pushed back to 20-13 with kills by Smart and Abigail Chadwick around a Saints bad set, and although Stackpole's block, Schoeberlein's kill and another Donahue kill supplied late points, Rowan finished the set 25-18 on Meredith Brown's kill.

The Saints countered Rowan's opening two points with kills by Knaub and Schoeberlein to tie the fourth set at 2-2, and Emerson Aber's kill later tied it at 3-3. After Stackpole's kill brought the Saints within 5-4, Rowan scored the next seven points behind kills from Abigail Chadwick, Hutton Cordrey and Meredith Brown, two Saints attack errors and a Sanai Jones service ace to move ahead 12-4. Schoeberlein and Bumah put down kills as the Saints interrupted Rowan at 12-5 and 15-6, but Rowan continued to separate with Jessica Smart, Meredith Brown, Abigail Chadwick and Cordrey among the late attackers. Aber's kill made it 20-9 before Rowan took the final five points, closing the set 25-9 on Cordrey kills, a Gabriella Cooper ace and two Saints attack errors.
