The Saints opened the scoring at 16:42 of the first half when
Arianna Blanco finished
Eleanor Keough's assist for a 1-0 lead. Keough later put a shot on goal after a corner kick, and the Saints took the 1-0 score into halftime.
The Saints protected a 1-0 lead through a scoreless second half and finished off the 1-0 result. Their main push came from 53:49 to 63:00, when they recorded three shots and two corner kicks, including a
Brooke Thrash shot saved by Marlie DeRenzis.
Mara Dufour preserved the shutout late with a save on Rebecca Perez at 87:47.
