WINCHESTER, Va. — Marymount lost to Shenandoah 3-0 on Tuesday. The Saints were held to three shots, one on goal, while their goalkeeper made seven saves against 15 Shenandoah shots.

The Saints absorbed early Shenandoah pressure in the first half, with
Mara Dufour making three saves in the opening 12 minutes to keep the match scoreless. After Shenandoah scored at 19:33,
Eleanor Keough hit the woodwork for the Saints at 28:55, but the home side added goals at 30:15 and 31:19. Dufour finished the half with four saves as the Saints went into halftime down 3-0.
The Saints kept Shenandoah scoreless in the second half despite facing six shots and four corner kicks. Dufour made three saves in the second half, stopping Emily Soos twice and Audrey Atwell once. The scoreless half left the final at 3-0 Shenandoah.
Up next, the Saints travel to Chestertown, Md., to face Washington College (Md.) on Saturday, Sept. 5. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. at Kibler Field at Roy Kirby Jr. Stadium.
