ARLINGTON, Va. – Nineteen Marymount University student-athletes representing 11 different programs were recognized on the 2025-26 Virginia Sports Information Directors (VaSID) College Division All-State Teams, highlighting another outstanding year of athletic and academic excellence across Saints Athletics.

The annual VaSID All-State Teams recognize the top performers from NCAA Division II, Division III, NAIA and junior college institutions throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia. Marymount's 19 selections reflect the depth and success of the Saints across multiple sports during the 2025-26 academic year.

Baseball led the way with three selections as Ben Smallwood, Evan Schick, and Quincy Via were honored following another successful campaign.

The men's swimming program earned three All-State selections with Luke Claudy, Nathan Bruley, and Noah Popp receiving recognition, while the men's soccer team was represented by Erick Shoetter-Rojas, Jefferson Lopez Coreas, and Merlin Torres.

Women's swimming also placed multiple student-athletes on the All-State squads with Annabelle Tarrant and Miah Lopez earning honors. Annabelle Tarrant also earned Rookie of the Year after a stellar first-year season. 

Marymount was represented by individual selections across several additional sports. Jaythan Dumas was recognized in men's indoor track & field, Winston Horshaw II earned honors in men's lacrosse, and Eshan Degamwar represented men's tennis.

On the women's side, Kaylee Atkins and Gracie Himmelman were selected from the softball program, while Tinleigh Rusher was recognized in women's golf. Mackenzie Morrissette represented women's lacrosse, and Nicole Alvarado earned All-State recognition in women's soccer.

The 19 honorees underscore the continued growth and success of Marymount Athletics, as Saints student-athletes continue to excel against the top collegiate competition across Virginia while representing the University with distinction both on and off the field.
