ARLINGTON, Va. – Marymount University baseball standout Quincy Via has been named the 2026 Atlantic East Conference Man of the Year, adding the league's highest individual honor to an already remarkable senior campaign. The prestigious award recognizes one student-athlete who exemplifies excellence in academics, athletics, leadership, and service across the conference.

Via capped off one of the most successful individual seasons in program history by also earning Second Team All-America honors after leading the Saints to another outstanding season in 2026.

The senior put together a remarkable offensive campaign, starting all 46 games for the Saints while hitting .422, one of the top batting averages in the region. He totaled 76 hits, including 15 doubles, two triples, and three home runs, while driving in 33 runs and serving as the catalyst at the top of Marymount's lineup throughout the spring.

His stellar performance earned him Atlantic East Conference Player of the Year honors, becoming one of the conference's premier players after a dominant senior campaign. He also collected Atlantic East First Team All-Conference recognition for the third consecutive season, adding to honors he received in 2024 and 2025.

The postseason accolades continued as Via was named to the ABCA All-Region Team, earned Academic All-District recognition, and was selected as a Second Team All-American, cementing his place among the nation's elite Division III baseball players.

Over the course of his decorated career, Via established himself as one of the most accomplished student-athletes in Marymount baseball history. A three-time Atlantic East First Team All-Conference selection (2024-26), he was also named to the Atlantic East All-Academic Team in 2023, 2024, and 2025, highlighting his success both on the field and in the classroom. As a junior, he earned D3baseball.com All-Region honors before elevating his game even further during his senior season. During his senior season, he broke Marymount baseball program histroy in stolen bases. 

Via leaves Marymount as one of the program's most consistent and impactful players, combining offensive excellence, defensive reliability, leadership, and academic achievement throughout his four-year career. His long list of accolades reflects not only an outstanding final season but also a sustained level of excellence that helped elevate the Saints' baseball program on both the conference and national stages.
