ASTON, Pa. -- In a thrilling showdown at Bruder Field, Marymount (15-9, 6-3 AEC) edged out Neumann (11-7-1, 5-4 AEC) with a 12-10 victory to win the three-game series, exploiting six errors by Neumann to clinch the win with a decisive four-run eighth inning.

The Saints faced off with Neumann in a high-octane contest, squeaking by with a 12-10 win. Marymount chipped away in the fifth inning as Carbonell scored again on a Quincy Via sacrifice fly, narrowing the gap to 6-2. The sixth inning saw Swekosky score on a wild pitch, and Via reached on a fielding mishap, allowing Gray Ellenburg to cross home, tightening Neumann's lead to 9-4.
