SOFT: Saints End Conference Season 11-1

MMACULATA, Pa. -- Marymount University women's softball team hit the road to face off in a double header against Immaculate University. The double header ended with a split, with the Saints losing by only one run in the second game, breaking their undefeated conference run. 

 MARYMOUNT 9 IMMACULATA 4

  • Morgan Maslock led the way in the circle, tossing 4.0 innings while allowing just 2 earned runs and striking out 4 to set the tone early
  • Bailey Demusz provided a strong relief effort, going 3.0 innings and giving up only 1 earned run while adding 2 strikeouts to help close things out
  • Gracie Himmelman sparked things at the top of the lineup from left field, setting the table as the leadoff hitter
  • Haylee Carpenter handled duties at second base and hit in the two spot, contributing to the teams offensive rhythm
  • Haley Greer anchored behind the plate as the starting catcher, playing a key role in managing the pitching staff
  • Kaylee Atkins provided a presence in the middle of the order at first base, helping drive offensive opportunities
  • Valeria Gutierrez De Oliveira held down shortstop while batting fifth, contributing both defensively and in run production spots
  • Samantha Richtol added depth as the designated player, rounding out the middle of the lineup
  • Grace Gilbert covered third base and contributed from the lower half of the order
  • Samantha Papp and Mady Archer patrolled the outfield in right and center field, respectively, helping secure defensive stability throughout the game
