ARLINGTON, Va. -- Marymount University women's softball team took on local opponent, Catholic University. The double header ended with two losses for the Saints.

• Gracie Himmelman went 1-for-4 with a double and scored a run, providing extra-base pop at the top of the lineup
• Haley Greer delivered a strong day at the plate, going 2-for-4 and reaching base consistently with a 1.000 OPS
• Kaylee Atkins was one of the most productive hitters, finishing 2-for-3 with a walk, 2 runs scored, and an RBI while posting a .750 OBP
• Valeria Gutierrez De Oliveira made a major impact offensively, going 1-for-2 with a home run, 2 RBIs, 2 runs scored, and 2 walks for a standout performance
• Samantha Papp chipped in with a 1-for-3 effort and added a stolen base to create pressure on the bases
• Tara Corcoran drove in a run and worked a walk, contributing in key situations despite not recording a hit
• Haylee Carpenter and Grace Gilbert each battled through multiple at-bats, with Gilbert also drawing a walk to get on base
• Mady Archer logged multiple at-bats and put balls in play, helping keep innings alive
• In the circle, Morgan Maslock handled the bulk of the workload, tossing 6.2 innings with 4 strikeouts while facing 33 batters
• Valeria Gutierrez De Oliveira showed her versatility during the game with a home run and seeing time pitching.

• Haylee Carpenter led the way offensively, going 1-for-3 with a run scored and consistently putting the ball in play out of the two spot
• Haley Greer matched that production, finishing 1-for-3 with a run scored while helping set the tone near the top of the lineup
• Kaylee Atkins added another solid contribution, going 1-for-3 with a run scored and providing steady contact in the middle of the order
• Samantha Richtol delivered in a key moment, going 1-for-3 with an RBI and coming through with runners on base
• Grace Gilbert produced the biggest swing of the day, going 1-for-3 with a double and 2 RBIs, capitalizing in a clutch situation
• Gracie Himmelman worked a walk and battled through her at-bats to get on base and see pitches at the top of the lineup
• Valeria Gutierrez De Oliveira handled things defensively at shortstop with multiple assists, despite a tough day at the plate
• Ashleigh Mannion and Mady Archer each logged multiple at-bats and stayed active defensively, with Archer recording several putouts in center field
• Bailey Demusz went the distance in the circle, throwing a complete game with 7.0 innings and 5 strikeouts while handling a heavy workload against a tough lineup
