HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. -- Marymount baseball fell twice to wrap up the Atlantic East Conference series at Centenary University on Saturday.
With the losses, the Saints record moves to 16-11 on the season, now 7-5 in conference play.

The Saints quickly gained the upper hand in the first inning.
Quincy Via doubled and stole third, setting the stage for
Tyler Woodring's RBI single. Woodring was later picked off, but an RBI single from
Francis Swekosky brought home
Anthony Farmakides. Marymount led 2-0 after the first inning.
In the second inning,
Gray Ellenburg, hit by a pitch, was driven home by a Woodring triple. An error allowed Woodring to score, increasing the Saints' lead to 4-0. Centenary (N.J.) responded by capitalizing on a passed ball and an error to bring the score to 4-2 by the end of the second inning.
The third inning saw Centenary tie the game at 4-4. Chris Clark's two-RBI single was the highlight for the home team.
In the fourth inning, Centenary took the lead. Joseph Frei scored on Blake Heitzman's groundout, making it 5-4 in favor of Centenary.
Marymount managed to score again in the fifth when
Anthony Farmakides, hit by a pitch, advanced on a bunt and scored on Ellenburg's sacrifice fly. However, Centenary countered with two runs of its own, ending the inning with a 7-5 lead.
Marymount's
Ryan Cuadros scored in the sixth inning after Farmakides' RBI single. Centenary added to its lead with a two-RBI single from Simeon Reed, extending the score to 9-6.
The game concluded with Centenary (N.J.) winning 9-6, despite the Saints' early lead and consistent scoring efforts.

Marymount opened the scoring in the top of the first inning when
Quincy Via singled, stole second, and advanced to third on an error. Via scored on the play, putting the Saints ahead 1-0. Centenary responded with seven runs in their half of the inning, highlighted by a two-RBI double from Chris Clark and a two-RBI single from Mike DeSena. Centenary led 7-1 after the first inning.
In the fourth inning,
Joshmar Carbonell reached on an error and scored on
Anthony Farmakides' RBI groundout.
Ryan Cuadros doubled and came home on a two-run homer by Swekosky, cutting the deficit to 8-4. Centenary added a run in their half, maintaining an 8-4 advantage through four innings.
The seventh inning saw Centenary push their lead to 11-4. A hit-by-pitch with the bases loaded and a fielder's choice play resulted in two runs, and an error allowed another run to score.
The Saints scored two more runs in the eighth inning.
Cole Shabosky, pinch running, and Schick scored on a two-RBI single by Sadler, narrowing the score to 11-6. Centenary added a run in the bottom of the eighth to extend their lead to 12-6.
Centenary secured a 12-6 victory over the Saints.

- Marymount will stay on the road next week, heading to Penn State Harrisburg on Monday before heading south to #9 Bridgewater on Tuesday.
