ARLINGTON, Va. – The Marymount University women's lacrosse team dropped a non-conference match up to Lebanon Valley College, 15-8, on Saturday afternoon. The Saints held pace early and were tied midway through the second quarter before the visitors used a strong second-half run to pull away.Â
NOTABLE
- Natalia Ortiz, Jillian Blair, and Tess Valentino each recorded two goals to lead the Saints offensively.Â
- Brooke Bretney and Mackenzie Morrissette also found the back of the net, rounding out Marymount's scoring effort.Â
- Morrissette played a key role in the offense, finishing with three assists and a goal for four total points, the most for the Saints.Â
- Blair added an assist to go with her two goals for a three-point performance, while Valentino also recorded a goal and assist.Â
- In goal, Ava Vautour turned in a strong performance with 17 saves across the full 60 minutes.
- Olivia Durso led the Saints defensively with five ground balls and two caused turnovers, while Jillian Blair added four ground balls.
