BALTIMORE, Md. – The Marymount University men's lacrosse team dropped a 10-4 decision to Goucher College on Saturday afternoon at Beldon Field. The Saints generated strong offensive pressure with 37 total shots and dominated possession at the face off stripe but were unable to overcome a second-half surge from the hosts.
NOTABLE
- Santino Rossitto and Ian Fructuoso each tallied two goals to pace the Saints' offense. Rossitto finished with eight shots and added two ground balls.
- Fructuoso fired a team-high 11 shots while collecting two ground balls in the contest.
- James Doss recorded the Saints' lone assist, feeding Rossitto for a third-quarter strike.
- Marymount controlled the face off battle behind Winston Horshaw II, who went 13-for-14 at the X and scooped up a game-high 10 ground balls to help fuel the Saints' possessions.
- Jacob Brooks played the full 60 minutes in goal, making 10 saves while also collecting three ground balls.
- Defensively, the Saints were active on the ground, finishing with 30 total ground balls compared to Goucher's 23.
- Kanye Otto contributed three ground balls, two caused turnovers and a shot, while Spencer Carfang added two ground balls on the defensive end.

Marymount will head to Virginia Beach for its spring break trip, taking on Barry College at Norfolk Christian Upper School. Face off is set for 3 PM on Thursday.
