BRIDGEWATER, Va. -- The Marymount University men's and women's track team traveled to Bridgewater this weekend to compete in the Doc Jopson Invitational. With many top ten performances, the Saints travel home with lots to be proud of.
NOTABLE
- On the men's side, Judah Onassis-Lee secured second place in his triple jump performance with a leap of 41' 9½".
- Struggs, Dumas, Graham, and Johnson earned a third place finish in their Mens 4x100 Relay with a time of 43.39.
- Samuel Struggs placed fifth in the Mens 400 Dash Finals with an impressive time of 51.61.
- Bryan Bivens led the Saints in the Mens 110 Hurdles Finals with a finishing time of 15.76.
- Jaythan Dumas claimed fourth in the Mens 100 Dash Finals with a time of 10.89.
- Jaythan Dumas also dominated in the Mens 200 Dash with a third place finish.
- Henry Brys secured sixth in the Mens 5000 Run with a time of 17:16.56.
- For the women, Gabi Titone finished in fourth for the women's 3000 steeple finals with a time of 13:07.81.
- Both Gabrielle Weirsky and Elizabeth Dellacorte finished top ten in the women's 10,000 meter run with respective times of 46:11.02 and 48:12.38
- In throwing, Junior Abby Hughes threw home a fourth place finish in the javelin finals with a distance of 90' 2½".
- Hawkins, Edwards, Aber, and Younger ran home a second place finish in the Womens 4x100 Relay Finals with a time of 49.72 in heat one.
- Brier Amerlinck claimed sixth in the Women's 1500 with a time of 5:05.39
- Ilana Hawkins ran an impressive 57.79 in the 400 meter dash, claiming second.
- Minnie Morris was able to run across the finish line fourth in the 100 meter dash with a time of 12.90
- First-year Gabi Titone secured third 800 meter race with a time of 2:26.35.
