TYSONS, Va. -- Marymount baseball split the double header on Saturday to finish off their series with AEC foe Marywood, ultimately winning the series.
The split gives Marymount a 13-7 overall record, now 4-2 in the AEC.

The Saints' offensive prowess was on full display as they powered their way to an 8-4 victory over Marywood.
Marywood got on the board first in the second inning, with Evan Bruder's RBI single driving in Tanner Vicendese, giving the visitors a 1-0 lead.
The fourth inning saw Marywood extend their advantage, thanks to another RBI single from Bruder and a pair of unearned runs, pushing the score to 4-0. Marymount (Va.) remained scoreless through four innings.
The Saints rallied in the fifth inning. Carbonell singled and later crossed the plate on a sacrifice fly by
Anthony Farmakides. Swekosky chipped in with an RBI single that brought
Quincy Via home, cutting the deficit to 4-2.
The game turned in the sixth inning as the Saints took advantage of Marywood's defensive lapses.
Sean McMahon reached base on a fielding error and scored on Via's sacrifice fly. Additional errors and a clutch two-RBI double from Sadler fueled a six-run inning, propelling the Saints to an 8-4 lead.
Marywood couldn't muster a comeback, and the Saints held firm through the seventh inning, sealing the 8-4 victory.

Marymount faced off against Marywood, who took an early lead. In the first inning, Marywood's Evan Bruder capitalized on a throwing error, putting them up 1-0.
Marywood widened the gap in the third inning when Joel Ayers scored on a single by Watson Church, making it 2-0.
In the fourth, Marywood's Cam Bott doubled and scored on an RBI double by Adam Ginsberg. The Saints answered back in the bottom half with
Anthony Farmakides coming home on Sadler's RBI double, narrowing it to 3-1.
The sixth inning saw Marywood's offense explode with three runs, highlighted by Adam Ginsberg's RBI single and Aj Kuzior's RBI double, pushing the lead to 6-1.
Marymount's Carbonell tripled in the seventh, bringing in Sadler, making it 7-2 after Marywood tacked on another run earlier in the inning.
Marywood added one more in the ninth as Tanner Vicendese scored, cementing an 8-2 win for the visitors. Final score: Marywood 8, Saints 2.
