SOFT: Saints Dominate on the Road

OWINGS MILL, Md. -- Marymount University women's softball team played in Owings Mill, Maryland this Wednesday afternoon in a double header against the Notre Dame of Maryland University.

MARYMOUNT 10 NOTRE DAME OF MARYLAND 0

  • Gracie Himmelman led the offensive surge, going 2-for-3 with a double, 4 RBIs, a walk, and a stolen base, consistently delivering in clutch situations
  • Haylee Carpenter contributed all over the field with 2 runs scored, 2 RBIs, a hit, a walk, and a stolen base, including key production with the bases loaded
  • Grace Gilbert added timely hitting with 2 RBIs on 1-for-4 at the plate, driving in runs in pressure spots
  • Haley Greer stayed hot at the plate, going 2-for-3 and reaching base consistently while also handling 5 putouts behind the plate
  • Valeria Gutierrez De Oliveira reached base twice (1 hit, 1 walk) and scored a run, helping keep innings alive
  • Samantha Richtol scored twice and added a hit, playing a key role in generating offense during Marymounts big innings
